Depends on what you want 515Bs for as there's apparently been several different spec versions over the decades based on various published and measured specs I've seen.
FWIW, I have '55 515Bs that were re-coned in '69 with specs that are somewhat different than what Altec or GPA have published, so consequently none of these will theoretically work as well in my custom designed DIY cabs.
If they needed re-coning or worse, replacing, I'd have no choice but to see if GPA could re-cone/replace them with the limited parts available today. The published specs imply not though.
Frankly, all things considered, I'd buy new and wouldn't waste my $$$ on AlNiCo unless they will be driven with a high output impedance and even then wouldn't buy Altec/GPA unless they can provide the specs I want.
Regardless, what would you use them for? A4, A5 or other horns, reflex, sealed? What XO point? Low, medium or high output impedance system?
